WHAT IS A BREAD and MUSTACHE TRANSPLANT?
Beard and mustache transplantation is a non-surgical procedure in which hair follicles are transferred from the donor area (the back of the head), to the receptive area; the chin and mustache areas to be treated.
WHO CAN GET A BEARD TRANSPLANT?
-
People over 25 years old.
-
People who have a missing beard problem.
-
People who have sufficient hair in the donor area where the roots will be taken for the transplantation process.
-
People who do not have any dermological diseases that may prevent the transplantation process.
WHICH TECHNIQUE IS USED IN EYEBROW TRANSPLANT?
DHI(Direct Hair Implamantation) Technique
The most advanced and latest hair transplant technique is called DHI (Direct Hair Implamantation).
Without the need to first build channels, the procedure entails taking individual hair follicles from your neck and implanting them straight into the balding or thinning areas. More density and precision are possible with this method.
DHI method produces thicker, more natural-looking hair. You may also control the direction in which your hair grows. It is a less disruptive and incasive technique. Long-term effects include improved hair density regeneration and faster healing. Due to local anesthetisia, DHI (Direct Hair Implamantation) technique is a completely painless procedure. Additionally, unlike the FUE procedure, there is no need to open channels in your head for each graft. Rather, a particular kind of tool (a pen) would transfer your grefts to the appropriate locations. 100% natural outcomes, no stitches, and no scars.

PRE-BEARD / PRE-MOUSTACHE TRANSPLANT PROCEDURES
-
Follow a healthy and balanced diet to prevent complications that may occur before and after the operation.
-
Avoid drinking alcohol starting from at least one week before the transplant, as it will have a negative effect on the anesthetic process.
-
Stop smoking at least two weeks before the operation.
-
Avoid taking blood thinning medicines and drinking certain natural beverages such as green tea.
HOW DOES THE TRANSPLANTATION PROCESS WORK?
-
The density of the donor area and the bald areas on the chin are defined and the number of follicles to be taken is determined.
-
Necessary examinations and controls, blood tests and dermatological examinations are performed on the patient.
-
After shaving the donor area to remove the follicles, the patient is given a local anesthesia.
-
Roots are taken from the donor area and placed in saline called Hypothermosol to keep the roots alive as long as possible.
-
Roots are placed in the CHOI apparatus and transplanting is performed while opening the canal at the same time with a single button.
AFTER-BEARD / AFTER-MOUSTACHE TRANSPLANT PROCEDURES
-
Do not wash your hair for at least 72 hours after the procedure.

Avoid tilting your head as much as possible.

Continue to take the necessary treatments and medications recommended by your doctor, which help the wounds heal quickly and increase the growth of follicles.
-
Avoid sexual intercourse for a week.

Avoid swimming in the sea for three months and swimming in the pool for two months.

-
Some vitamins can be used to help increase the growth of follicles.
