WHAT IS A FAT INJECTION?
Fat injection is one of the most easily applied methods among cosmetic operations. Fats taken from the body areas with excess fat are redistributed to the required area, which are usually loose or wrinkled ones.
Injected areas are usually such as under eyes, face, cheeks, breasts, hips and others.
WHO CAN GET FAT INJECTION?
-
Those who want to get rid of the defects caused by a prior aesthetic operation.
-
Those who want to regulate the proportion of their bodies.
-
Those who do not have blood circulation problems due to smoking or any other medical reason.
-
Those who have loose skin or wrinkles in some parts of their body.
-
Those experiencing obesity or extreme thinness.
WHICH TECHNIQUE IS USED FOR FAT INJECTION?
Fat injection is an operation that can be performed in as little as 45 to 90 minutes. With the Vaser liposuction technique, fat is absorbed from areas with local obesity or fat accumulation. Special needles are used to inject the extracted fat into targeted areas of the body afterwards.
PRE- FAT INJECTION PROCEDURES
-
Do not eat or drink anything for a certain period specified by your doctor before the operation.
-
Stop smoking two months before the operation.
-
Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen and some vitamins for a while (two weeks – one month) before the surgery as they may cause bleeding during the surgery.
-
Do not apply moisturizer on to-be-treated areas on the day of the operation.
-
Avoid stimulants, green tea and alcohol.
HOW DOES THE FAT INJECTION PROCESS WORK?
-
General anesthesia is applied in surgical operations.
-
The operation begins with a comprehensive examination of the patient.
-
The doctor examines the patient undergoing the operation and detects the areas of fat accumulation.
-
After applying the anesthesia, the doctor takes the fat from the donor area with Vaser technology and puts it into a special device where the fats are separated from the blood and fluids. Then, the pure fat obtained is injected with needles into the areas determined by the doctor during the examination. Usually, the patient can be discharged from the hospital on the same day and can go back to normal life within two or three days.
