The filler contains natural or synthetic materials such as Hyaluronic acid, Calcium, Collagen. There are 2 different types of filling applications; permanent and temporary.
Filling process has become an alternative solution for many surgical cosmetic procedures such as lip augmentation, rhinoplasty and deviation due to its ease of application.
WHO CAN GET A FILLING?

WHAT ARE THE TECHNIQUES USED IN FILLING APPLICATIONS?
Permanent Fill:
It consists of certain substances that retain their effectiveness. Fillers applied with this technique may cause some side effects on the skin.
Temporary Fill:
It consists of substances that dissolve in the skin over time. Depending on the area of use, it stays on the skin for 6 months to 1 year.
PRE-FILLING APPLICATION PROCEDURES
· Reduce smoking about 1 week before the filling process.
· Stop taking medications, vitamins and anti-inflammatories that cause blood thinning.
· Test if you have a filler allergy.
· Inform your doctor about the medications you use regularly.
HOW IS FILLING APPLICATION PERFORMED?

The doctor examines the area to be filled and marks the areas to be injected.

Necessary skin tests and blood tests are performed to ensure that the patient is a suitable candidate for filler application.

In order not to feel any pain, local anesthetic cream or spray is applied to the areas determined by the doctor.

The doctor carefully injects the filler into the areas to be treated using very fine needles.

Even if immediate results are obtained after the application, the actual results become clear in 3-7 days.

Additional filling applications can be made when necessary.

AFTER-FILLING APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Keep your head upright for at least 6 hours to keep the filling stable in the treated areas.

Avoid exposure to intense sunlight and heat for the first 24 hours.

Avoid alcohol and cigarette use for the first 24 hours after the filling process.

Never touch the treated areas for the first 24 hours after the filling process.
