WHICH TECHNIQUES ARE USED IN HAIR TRANSPLANT?
DHI Technology
Our medical team opens multiple channels in treatment area with Choi Pen which implants up to 3500 follicles at the same time with one click which are to be removed after. The whole process takes about 6 to 8 hours.

DHI(Direct Hair Implamantation) Technique
The most advanced and latest hair transplant technique is called DHI (Direct Hair Implamantation).
Without the need to first build channels, the procedure entails taking individual hair follicles from your neck and implanting them straight into the balding or thinning areas. More density and precision are possible with this method.
DHI method produces thicker, more natural-looking hair. You may also control the direction in which your hair grows. It is a less disruptive and incasive technique. Long-term effects include improved hair density regeneration and faster healing. Due to local anesthetisia, DHI (Direct Hair Implamantation) technique is a completely painless procedure. Additionally, unlike the FUE procedure, there is no need to open channels in your head for each graft. Rather, a particular kind of tool (a pen) would transfer your grefts to the appropriate locations. 100% natural outcomes, no stitches, and no scars.

HOW DOES THE HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCESS WORK?
-
The density of the donor area, the area to be planted and the number of roots to be taken are determined and the line to be planted is drawn.
-
Necessary examinations and controls, blood tests and some dermatologic tests are performed on the patient.
-
If the FUE technique is to be used, the entire hair is shaved and if the DHI or Robot technique is to be used, only the donor area is shaved and then local anesthesia is applied.
-
Roots are taken from the donor area and placed in saline called Hypothermozol to keep the roots alive as long as possible.
-
If the FUE technique is used, the channels are opened and the extracted roots are transplanted into these channels. If the DHI technique is used, the roots are placed in the CHOI apparatus and the planting process is performed while opening the canal at the same time with a single button.
PRE-HAIR TRANSPLANT PRECEDURES
-
In order to avoid complications that may occur during or after the operation, it is recommended to have a healthy and balanced diet before the operation.
-
Avoid smoking at least two weeks before the procedure, as it affects the growth of follicles and the results of the procedure.
-
Please avoid coffee and stimulants at least four days before planting as they can affect the anesthesia process.
-
Please avoid drinking green tea because it is a blood thinner that causes severe bleeding during and after surgery and directly leads to the failure of the operation. Also please stop taking medications that may cause blood thinning.
-
If you are taking certain medications for a certain disease, such as hypertension, diabetes or other diseases, the healthcare professional needs to know these and approve the hair transplantation procedure.

AFTER-HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCEDURES
-
Do not wash your hair for at least 72 hours after the procedure.
-
A headband should be worn for 48 hours to prevent swelling of the head.
-
Again to prevent swelling, you should sleep in a semi-vertical position with your head resting on two pillows for five days.
-
Avoid tilting your head as much as possible. Keep a parallel line between your chin and the floor for three days to prevent swelling in the forehead and around the eyes.
-
Continue to take the necessary treatments and medications recommended by your doctor, which help the wounds heal quickly and increase the growth of hair follicles.
-
Use medical shampoo when washing your hair, do not rely on chemical shampoos.
-
Avoid sexual intercourse for a week.
-
Avoid swimming in the sea for three months and swimming in the pool for two months.
-
Stay away from Turkish bath or sauna for a month.
-
Avoid standing under direct rain or dust to avoid damaging the implanted follicles.
-
Stay away from sunlight, heat and high humidity for at least one month and please wear a medical hat when going out.
-
When putting on or taking off your clothes, avoid pressing directly on the scalp.
-
Avoid smoking for at least two months after the operation as this inhibits the growth of follicles and causes them to fall out.
-
Plasma PRP can be used as it strengthens the planted roots.
-
Cold laser applications can be used, which stimulates blood circulation and thus strengthens the transplanted roots.
-
Some vitamins can be used to help increase the growth of follicles.
